Since her early years, Jasmine Desrochers aka Kidkodak has been fascinated by children’s illustrations.  When she was just a child she would draw for hours fairies, princesses, dragons, knights, and extraterrestrial monsters. What she loved and still does is to immerse herself in fantastical worlds and surround herself with strange and funny creatures right out of her imagination. Her childish artistic style combined with her vivid imagination results in beautiful and colorful illustrations.

She uses traditional (mostly watercolor) and non-traditional mediums to create her illustrations, using what connects best with the project.  She has recently explored various technics and materials to create illustrations that will best serve the mood of the story she's working on.

She lives in Laval, Canada, with her loving husband and children.
